how time flies..
each and everyone of us busy with our own lives...
occasional meet-ups like once in a blue moon.

PEOPLE!

i'm back from perth! :)
enjoyed my trip there.
it was a fun and exciting hands-on
real life experience for me!

however, the time i had at perth
was not long cos the shops close pretty early.
and silly me forget to bring camera out!!
haiya.. WASTED! =X

and am looking forward
to seoul later this evening!

i'll definitely take photos this time round!
LOL.

Seems like this is not a year for everyone else as well so dont worry!
You are not alone!
And i guess as friends, we should always understand each other.

Even though you may be missing out from outings, as long as we keep each other in mind, that's what matters most!
And when you are caught up in trouble or having a bad day, friends should always be around for one another isnt it?
And here is just one avenue that we can go to let out our frustrations and let each and everyone one else of us here know what's happening!

As for Beeyan..
Your boss hates you.
And you know he hates you.
so why bother being upset and pissed off?
Just do your own job and get it on!!
You can do it :)

And i guess... everyone will have to age.
And when you age, nevertheless your body will start to break down as well.
so i guess it's just part of a life cycle.
Everyone will grow old and eventually all sorts of problems will appear.
So i guess it's best for you to just take things easy and look at it at a bright side!
At the nursing home, she will get better care as well isnt it since all of u are busy~

As for ur uncles, well, let's just say they will have their own retributions?
So dont bother to fight with them cuz it will be like "playing music to the cow" tsk.

Anyway im getting more and more restless!
Cant wait for April to come soon and gain back my freedom...

hello ppl~
sorry that i've seem to disappear from gatherings and outings
just that this not my year =p

have gotten into major trouble with my new boss recently
and he has been making me fume with his idiotic decisions

just to sum it short,
my boss hates me and the feeling's mutual~
he basically treats me like an idiot now and sort of "demote" me...
very upset & pissed at him still
now, i don't know if I can really last until Jul/Aug before I resign
must cheer me on kays =p
so that I can stay on longer and make his life hell~

anyway...
i'm sending my grandma to the nursing home tomorrow
want to cry but I can't...
coz I know my parents would be even more upset & worried...
my mum can't cope alone
with all of us at work or at school
and her own health isn't that good

my grandma has become quite senile over the past few months
and last week, I had to sent her to the hospi
It was the first time since four years ago when she has agreed to seeing a doc.
It broke my heart to see her so lifeless
so unlike her usual self...

over the past 2 days,
I came home to find out that she has fallen and my brothers didn't have enough strength
to carry her up
my mum had to call people to come over to my place to help out...
and both my uncles just couldn't be bother about what happening to my grandma
sometimes, I wish I could just shout at them...
how can they be so selfish towards their own mother?
I'm really so angry at them
do you think I'll get strike by thunder if I give in to my urges to throttle them?

anyway,
I'm just complaining =p
will be all right
if not for myself, for my family then
coz they need someone to help make decisions and be strong
although I have to admit that I'm a little afraid deep down =)
pass me some strength to carry on okie =p

hello peeps! it seems like its been long since i've seen ya! MISSES!
everybody is soooo busy.
me too.

anyway, just to inform you guys that i've already handed in my resignation letter!
which means in 2 mths time i will be no longer workin at the airport :)
im probably gonna just take a short break to decide on what i should move on to.

either studies or either finding another job i guess?

so for these 2 mths, i will also be contemplating my next move. hur~*

and to SK: please update and let out ur feelings here ya~
wondering what happened to you, why u are feeling so upset and all.
so don't keep me in suspense!

and not to worry, no matter how bad things are, you'll never walk alone! :D

this year
isnt a very good start for me
many tins happened
my driving isnt going on very smoothly with me failing and failing again and again
and my grandma got hospitalised but relief that her condition had stabilised
and .....ya
this isnt a very good year for me
at least till now
my mood hasnt been very good lately
it has continued for about 1month plus le
i shallnt tink too much
for this new year
i wish for courage strength love and happiness
and i wish for my driving test to pass
and everyone around me to be happy and healthy

HELLO! it been years since i log on to this bloggie.
OOPS! thou i have been dilligently reading it. haha!

YEAH! yesterday was the birthday celebration for
our notti Jasmine Hoo! :)
Tonight pass 12midnight and she'll be officially 21 years old!
Sorry dear.. for being PIG! and was super late. =X

but still hope u're happy and enjoyed your night out.
and also, the clique also had fun yah! :)
there's still a long time till the next birthday.
meanwhile, we should meet up yah! :)

well, guess everyone is clear bout my life. :)
isnt it? haha! but would like to summarize it a little.
kinda act as a recall of year 2008 for me.

in the beginning of the year 2008.
am still in internship with TourEast.
with my dear colleagues, Peiyi and Peifen and SengKwang.

then left TourEast and back to school.
finished the rest of the modules of htm course.
then there's a Career Talk at TP.
went for it and applied for sq then.

passed the first 3 rounds and my hopes were high.
were very close to achieve my dream. but... ...
FAILED at the last round. disappointed and sad then.
nevertheless, with the support and comfort from you peeps and Vanessa.
made me feel much better.

we finally graduated and went for a LONG trip.
to TAIWAN! spent precious moments together.
we had lotsa fun thru the 11days trip. :)
i.e. Going to cold areas with dress and minimal clothing
almost freezed then.

then there came the official Graduation Day.
and i got myself a job as an event co-ordinator.
then there came alot of problems.
the stupid company was like a fraud issue.
damn kuku company.
and, problems rise between me and Vanessa.

during that period, thanks to you peeps that
i'm able to overcome my emotions and financial issue.
esp. Shan Papa. :) if weren't for you,
i wouldnt have survived.

afterwhich, i worked for the SingTel Ultimate Race.
Times were fun and I enjoyed my colleagues company.
Then, i've spoken to my mum bout going back to studies.
Intended to take a degree at SIM-RMIT.
registered for it.

Meanwhile, I was still trying for sq.
And, failed many times.
Till one day, where I decided that it will be my last try for sq
and if were to fail, I will only try after i've completed my degree.
and Surprisely, I PASSED!

i managed to achieve this dream career of mine! :)
i was over the moon!
cancel my school application
and started training since.

I guess the above was long enough for a summary for year 2008.

Now, for year 2009 resolutions:

> To be humble and learn as much as I can
> To pass my probation
> To like and enjoy what I'm doing
> To earn and save lotsa money

so many activities since i have been here last time round!

sounds exciting~
but have to see if i'm up to it during the weekdays

hmmm...
some updates on my current life...

am not longer rotting at home since yesterday the 19th~
started training at SP Powers
and got my timing
every Mon - Fri; 8.30am to 6pm
but from what i heard,
work is gonna keep me in the office,
especially during the initial stages
even my boss and other colleagues actually warned me that the next few months or even
the next half a year is going to be very difficult
~stress~

am posted in Correspondence division of customer service
then my department got one cute guy =p
lolx
so shuang~
go work can still ogle at guys some more~
Muhaha~

but for the next week, until july, i will be stuck with training with other 3 newbies
from other divisions of customer service
with a counter staff
then i'll leave them and go on to more training with my own mentor~
can you believe that it's like attending school all over again???
make me want to cry after 2 days
there are really a super thick pile of notes and it's only the 2nd day!
more to come afterwards~
plus there will still be a test after the training completes...

don't understand why replying to emails, letters and faxes got so many things to pick up
and the system is going to change again in august!
meaning more trainings waiting for me...

ermmmm...
to be honest...
am quite stress already
seems like everyone keep telling me that it would not be a easy job
then don't know if i'll get along with the rest anot...
suddenly feel quite insecure that i would not be able to perform to expectation...

and
i actually got called up by STB and a hotel for interview yesterday and today!
which makes me want to go bang wall le
was actually wanting to apply for a post in STB and get more relevant experiences
but in the end...
they only called like now
when i applied last week!
and i have already signed a contract with my agent and the company

oh well
never mind
at least this will be a interesting experience for me =p
planning to go overseas next year so no difference =p

anyway will try to meet up with you guys as much as possible

that idiot kept bugging me to update. I wondered how long have I not kept in real touch with all of you. I mean apart birthday parties, personal outings I haven't been involved much. True enough, perhaps I was a tad too lazy, and home is the place I long to be after work each day. LOL .

Ok. This post was drafted 1 day ago. Since today is a Friday, and normally won't be online during weekend, here's a dedicated post to our friendship! (All thanks to SSK) . Hahaha. Eng Seng Restaurant has been a place I've yearned to go for at least 3 years, ever since my O Levels were over. And i'm glad now that i've found PPL! =)) Well well, i can only say that if Monday the crabs are sold out, we can always travel to other places to have our dinner! Like Bedok 85, Bedok Central, Tanjong Katong, Astons. So many!!! Fret not, I'm a pro @ Katong area, feel safe that I'm around to guide you all. Lol.

Work's been monotonous this 1 week. Youtubing, surfing, facebook, MSN ... That's all. Out of the 8.5 hours i'm working, 1 hour for lunch, 1 hour for personal break, 6 hours of leisure time and 0.5 hour of work. How boring can this be. T.T But well, I guess it's because my event isn't here yet, so it's more of relaxing, slacking and more relaxing. Well, my colleague and I have a clever plan of leaving together next year April , after she gets her private diploma, so that this company can be in chaos without 2 coordinators. I was neutral, but I heard too many stories from her. Haha. Well, it might be a good idea too, because during work I got so bored I started looking up job vacancies. And true enough, there're many types of work that can be found. Anyway this coming August there's a career fair by JobsCentral. Any1 interested in going? Big shot companies are exhibiting. =)

Mundane life @ work for now. Just got pissed off by my immediate manager. I dislike being framed for what I didn't do. I shall get He Jun Xiang to entertain me for the rest of the day. LOL. My current fave for now. Oh anyway, yea, Joel's leaving me for Genting and his gay. Sobs. I'm gonna be lonely from Sunday-Wed, and miss him like crazy. T.T Although there're already plans for Sunday and Monday, I'm so gonna leave my Tuesday free. Lol. I'm broke!! Counting down to payday.......................

Hey peeps,

Yeah..as what ah shan annouced..we 2 are finally free from what so call the "suspicious" and "tiring" job..haaa...from April 10 till now..about 2month we survived tgt with jan toking on the fone and we 2 walking here and there from this to another car parks everyday at different location..we are equaling capable as compared to carpark attendants .. muahaa..no more sweat and swear but too..no more companion of frens during work...life will be so boring once again..but still..looking forward for a new beginning..

and yeah..i am not jobless too..cos i have found a new job..a job at SPH's call centre...i wonder what the job will be like and what kind of calls and callers i will have to handle..haa...hope it will be fine and fun and not too boring till i fall aslp..no time to rest..immediately tml will be my first day at work...i hope everytin will be good and i will wake up on time so as not to be late..and...i hope the ppl there are good and frenly jus like u all..erm...pray hard...i dun wan to lunch alone : (

this new job will last me till Sept 6 which den aft another week on the Sept 13 i will be starting a new phrase of my life at Pulau Tekong (the bo tak island - named by sk2)..during this 3 months of working period...i tink i will be so so tired and sometin like back to attachment days sia..will be working mon-fri 9am - 6pm and sat 9am - 1pm..5.5days week..no life job..but still..pls feel free to date me aft my working hours..i will be free for u all de date de wor..haa..dun forget abt me k..haaa...9am work = wake up at 7.30 to prepare and travel to work...its so early u noe..i cant believe it..lesser slp for me again...so ppl..esp miss jeanie and adel and jan..pls feel free to give me morning calls k...i nid ur help desperately..lol..amy..during your morning shift u can also feel free to call me up k..haaa...will be so nice to hear all of u de nice voice in the morning..haaaa...

helllooooo people!
ever since the start of my work ive been pretty busy i cld barely catch up with you guys!!
hmm but i see that this blog is not updated by you guys except for shulay so i'm like wondering what you guys are also busy with and how's your life and so on???
so people please blog yeah?

even though you may be busy, but still just take a lil time to update about yourself so that we dont drift away like slowly.. and slowly without even realising it! =b

as you all might already know ive started on job training and im mostly at T2 now.
not able to go into the transit area as my pass is not done yet.
and so far the job has been pretty fine...
the customers are mostly fine but it's just that some of your working colleagues can be damn arrogant and shitty~
ive seen them just purposely pick on you for this and that...
it's as though they have no life and just wan to make your life difficult.
And they pull such a long black face, you wouldnt feel like going near them. -_-"

but so far.. i haven met with any nasty incidents with any of them cuz the ones ive met are pretty nice and willing to teach me.
and i've also be warned about those "untouchables" so i will be clever and keep a lookout for them so that i wont step on their poor toes. haha.

morning shift been pretty tiring cuz imagine working at 5am in the morning.. good thing is you get to go home in the afternoon.
now im working like freaking 10hrs a day.. so it's a killer on the feet.
however heard that starting june they will change the schedule to 8hrs a day..
in case they scare all of us away as they have did to so many others previous trainees.
so right now im still surviving well in this job with no complaints!

only bad thing is i'll be working for this coming PH with no OFF because it is in my schedule. AND possibly i might not make it for shulay's celebration because it is on a saturday where i'll be working Night shift. which means im working 315pm to 130pm...
and im hoping someone will be kind enough to change shift with me cuz if not.. there's really no way i'll be able to meet up with you guys and catch up with all the missing times!

a thing to ask which is...
Will we still be meeting up on Graduation Day???

OMG -_-" like how the hell did this sense of tense-ness and awkward-ness came into this blog?
and looks like im the last one to keep update on this cuz apparently i am kept in the dark of all the unhappiness and all ever since i wrote the last post.

all these are blown out of proportion!!

first of all, wanna apologize for all the misunderstanding!
apparently i didnt expect such a big reaction from Sk because i wasn't directing at you and pinpointing all your wrongs!
what Shulay has said basically is what i really meant so i think you seriously misunderstood what i've said.

i'm not saying that you cannot voice out all your complains...
and it's not that im not concerned. (in the first place, i wouldnt even comment on anything if im not the least concerned!)
all i'm saying is what are the things that you could have done to reduce all your stress and frustrations...
im not saying you are wrong in this way or that way.

i dont agree that if i have problems, i always have nana to run to.
what if the problems have to do with nana?
I always go to you guys and talk about it. that's what friends are for right?
which is why when you voice out all your opinions, we are here to tell you what we think about it.
having known each other for so long le,
i don't say fanciful words just to please the others. i just say what i really feel no matter whether others will think it's right or wrong.

I don't find it anywhere near wrong having to voice out one's complaints at one's own blog.
Many a times people have their own ups and downs in life.
Having no one comfortable to turn to, it does helps a lot to vent those pent-up frustrations in a blog.
Yet, a good friend has to not understand these distressed feelings, and ranted out her comments. It might be out of goodwill but that's only to her own stand. That is, these are done without been thoughtful for your little depressed friend here.

On the other hand, those words might stand true to an extend. However, they just ain't said in a rightful tone to be taken in as good advice, and definitely not at the right moment though.
So my dear mummy, i guess you might probably not be in a great mood at the time you read SK's post. Not saying that you're in fault, but maybe you have your own troubles that are yet to be voiced out as well.

SK, things might get tough on your side. Nevertheless, i believe you are definitely mature enough to handle them. We can only be your pillar of support when you need comfort, or some space to relax and have fun.
Cheers, things will get better, I'm sure. :))

Having a child bears the love emblem between a couple.
Should a break-up happens, I wouldn't wish to keep the child.
With the thought of harming an innocent life kept in mind, the decision remains strong still.

If I have to bear the child for the sake of keeping my guy by my side, I will only feel sorry for myself. For sure, i believe i deserve someone better to love and dote me. Thus, why should i go for someone who no longer loves me, but stays by my side for the child's sake. It's a kind of "pity" love that i'll never wish to have. I'll rather bear the pain of heartaches and give myself the right treatment.

Keeping the child doesn't necessary meant the goodwill of the child. Often, people feel that one shouldn't harm innocent lives through abortion. However, have anyone think or feel for those children? How will they feel having to grow up in a single-parent family? The cruel teases and bad childhood that they'll have to endure through. Do you think those kids who are their peers will think rationally enough to be sensitive towards your kid's feelings? I doubt that. Imagine growing up in an environment whereby you're ostracised by your peers.

Hence, i strongly don't believe in keeping the child if it's still early to decide.

hey ppl, chill out okay. To sk, dun misunderstood.. im sure amy mean no harm. she's just voicing out her honest thoughts. that's wad good friends are for right? to tell their friends their faults so they will be able to improve on it. many times human tend to overlook their fault, refusing to hear bad things but only the good. I admit even i myself are one of those ppl. I mean who would like to hear bad things about themselves and for me, i'm afraid to hear the negavtive comments about myself in the past but now im trying to and willingly to learn more bad sides about me so i can improve on :) (but i sort of know my negatives and still i dun mind if u guys blog and tell me about my negatives)

And for sk im not trying to say ur wrong or wad. I noe u mean no harm in your previous entry. and yes perhaps we've misunderstood u but maybe in your previous post, u should instead thank amy for her comments and explain in a better tone that u've actually tried and its only that we did not see your efforts. i'm sure in this way it would not result in any unnecessary conflicts or wad. To me i'll say that amy is brave to say those words. She values all our friendship more than anything else (esp you) and believe that our friendships are strong. That's y she's not afraid to voice it out. So sk, dun get it wrong okay - she's trying to help u and so are we :) We are want you to be a positive-thinking boy!

SK its okay to complain and vent it out sometimes but too often is unhealthy. Hmm.. ur presence is very impt in our clique and u never fail to bring smiles to our clique. Im saying from the bottom of my heart. So stay cheerful and humourous as always, our "kai xin guo" =D tomorrow will be a better day! Stay positive from this moment on!

ps: as for shan question, i really have no definite ans. its either to keep and raise the child singlehandedly or to keep and give the child to other couples who wanted children but were unable to.

well, after reading amy's post below and sk's posts at his blog, i would like to share this mini story of mine that happened some time ago...

i still remember that ppl would ask why i took Os in a priv sch, how come i retain sec 3, whenever new friends ask me how come i'm like one year older (especially during poly orientation etc.)
the reason is, i had a time, or a phase where i was really down, and to think back, i seriously think i was suffering from depression. but whatever triggered that in the past; come to think of it now, they're all but small matters, and they make me a stronger person and seen another perspective.

the story goes is, during my sec 3 yr at crescent, i wasn't doing well, firstly i did not get in the class i wanted, secondly, i feel that i don't have any friends at all, like close friends or good friends i can talk to. and u know how life likes to rub salt on ur wound, i landed in hospital due to pneumonia in my lung. my parents at that time was not very supportive, and i dun really talk to them. coz it just feels that they aren't listening, and so i stopped trying to communicate. furthermore, being a perfectionist, i feel that i was failing in life; i wasn't doing well in school, and my dad just had a way to make me feel guilty of the medical bills i choked up during my hospital stay.

and so, i began to try to escape from reality. i dun go sch regularly like i should, i will just tell my mum that i'm sick and take mc. it began a habit, and depression kicked in. in the end, i stopped going to sch altogether. i had symptoms like having suicidal thoughts, feeling like crying all the time, and all those negative thoughts that u can imagine. without proper help, my illness just worsen further.
anyway to cut it short, i simply stayed at home and 'rotted' for about a yr plus? i can't remember how i walk out of it though, but i'm glad that i did. so, i realised i nid to put my life back together after a yr of rotting and enrol to YMCA , sit for Os as a private candidate, and my life kinda returned 'normal' again.

i seldom share this story with people, coz i simply dun want to talk about it and dun want to be reminded of it. but still, i'm thankful that after this phase, i became a stronger person, and i vowed never to let myself dwell in that 'bottomless pit' again.

so my dear friends out there, be strong, i know it's hard to stay positive being stuck in a rut. but trust me, u guys are strong, and we can all do it. =)
and to sum up amy's and my words, escape is not the solution.

anyway i do agree with what shulay has said..
in life, there's times where you will reach the lowest peak of it but before you know it, something good comes along with it...
that is why i always believed that one must stay positive no matter what happens.
so what if nothing is becoming what you expect? You'll never know how bad a thing may eventually turn out to be good afterall!
in life, we gain some. we lose some.
but we won't get to lose everything at one time.

without love, there's still friendships.
without money, there's still kinships.
without anything in the world, you still have you.

that's why it is true that in whatever phase you are in your life, you'll have to cherish what you are having right now at that moment...
because you'll never know just when things will start to change.

anyway, like you, im sure everyone of us have been thru emotional struggles as well!
which one of us haven been through a failed relationship?
you see..
even though we may have love luck tdy, it doesnt mean tmr we will have it as well.
there are good times and bad times..
so what you have failed in the past?
just take it as a learning experience and move on along...because we always end up meeting the wrong ones before we know who is the right one.
that's why im encouraging those who doesnt have the luck right now to keep on trying.
don't give up!

it's not about how many.. or how long in a relationship you are in.
but whether you've been happy in this relationship... whether you will go on to cherish all the memories that you've been thru.
as long as you're happy, nothing else matters!

i would say abort the child no matter how cruel this may sound.
but it is even more cruel for the child to be born in this world without a happy and complete family.
how will it be like to look at your child and have it remind you of all the unhappy past?

if he doesnt love you or vice versa.
i don't see the point why one should continue with the relationship.
you are the one who has the control in your life.

so it takes just one decision to decide whether you'll be happy or not.
so why not chose the decision that will make yourself happy?

like i say, don't make your own life miserable.

well to ans shan's question, if it happens to me, i won't get back wif him together coz of the child, bcoz if the child grows up in a family but both parents are always giving each other the cold shoulder, how healthy can it gets? though it seems like a complete family on the outside. i guess perhaps i'll just be a single mum and raise him/her up, not restricting his/her contact wif the dad. like they can still go out, and perhaps the 3 of us can spend some time together, but not marriage.

I was thinking WHAT IF i am pregrant with derek's child after we broke up. Will i rather have a husband(derek) that loves the child but not me or the child to grow up single parent. I will choose option 1. I want my child to grow up in a healtier family. Ok lar not say that without the husband loving me is very healthy but then at least better than the child without a father.

What about you guys ? What if you are pregant with a child, either the father doesn't love you or you dun really love the father ?

i believe that god is fair. in life, some found love but lost their friends, some have everything but not family or some lost love but found their career. some might have lost their love but eventually they move on and found a better one. thou eventually wad god had given us might not be wad we want but i strongly believe that we should take and thank god :) im fortunate to be pampered by god. He gave me a alot of very good friends at every phase of my life and i really cherish them.

ps: i might look good on the outside but actually i've been thru alot of emotional struggle as well. i don't have love luck, not in the past, now or future.

i'm back~
finally, i got the time and determination to sit down and
concentrate on getting an update up on the blog

i've been missing the school days whereby we get to hang out together and crap
about school and everything...
seems like everyone is having their own busy lifes and schedule

for the past month

plus i still have to work on labour day! =[

and... when i was back... i received a red letter from TP!
no... it wasnt to congratulate me for my graduation but it was to remind me to pay my library fines by 30th April!!

bu shuang... shant be paying the extra money just to get the robe to go on stage~

well well, i do agree wif amy that with different schedules, being busy with work and sch (few months down the road for me), it would be really hard to meet up at times.

anyway, i am still waiting for uni entry, kinda lose hopes in going into local Us, coz its like those who are given a place at nus has already like went for orientation talks, for ntu, ppl had received letters for the past few days, and lastly smu called up ppl for interviews already. so, sad to say, i've done none of this coz there weren't any letters or whatsoever. oh well =/

basically talked crap during the interview. competition was strong with so many pple. but still, i managed to pull it through! :)

Shulay's entry - My training

-let me revive this little friendship blog of ours-

okay, so far im doing fine for my training but the timing and grooming really sucks. jus in case u all might be wondering, this is how a typical day of mine goes: i have to wake up at 5.15 to tie my bun, put on my make-up and then leave the house at 7 for my direct bus service 5 to the training centre. I simply love the 1 hr 10min bus journey as it is a great opportunity for me to replenish my beauty sleep. Haa! then i will reach the bus stop at 8.10 and then walked 15mins up the so-called Mount Eemei which i had named it to the training centre. Upon reaching the place, i will need to sign my attendance at the office and in the midst of walking, it is compulsory to greet every one of the staffs, pilots, stewards, stewardess, cleaners, training mates a GOOD MORNING whenever we passby them. And yes, I've once said 20 Good mornings in less than 15mins -__- HAA. Something i would like to share which i think its pretty funny would be after we signed in, we'll need to report to our classrooms and after my batchmates and i stepped into it, majority of us would remain in the classrooms (even if we are super-early) while waiting for our instructors. We rather stayed in the "safe zone" becos if we stepped out of the classroom, we will definately see lots of people and then have to greet Good morning again. Quite funny issit?

OKAY back to the topic. And because of the long traveling hours, i'm rather dead when i reached home and i simply like to drag and not bathe immed. Yes, i've cultivate the habit of being SUPER-lazy which caused me to sleep with my make-up and hair bun on TWO TIMES which can caused a great damage to my complexion and the quality of my hair. Sads. Its already in a bad condition since I have to put on thick make-up, lots of hairspray and wax during weekdays. BUT nvm I think i have gotten quite used to it by now. Most of the times when meeting my friends and family after work, I will go in my thick-makeup as I am used to the stares already -I'm trying to hint u guys not to be shocked the next time i meet u guys ah.

Anyway my past few weekends were mostly spent with my mum. I'm so glad that my relationship with her have improved alot ever since i started my training :) We weren't in good terms ever since i came back overseas (I had neglected her ALOT of times and I'm terribly sorry about it). Fortunately, we are doing good now! :) I make it a point to bring her out for dinner and movies at least once a week and she actually took the initiative and accompanied me for my swimming quite a number of times! I really feel loved :) and YES Miss Goh Shu Lay had received her first pay (after graduation) yesterday morning and immed I brought my mum and sis out for dinner at SPAGGEDIES. Food was very nice but we over-ordered. HA and those who have not tried it, go try it! Their crayfish parmigana was absolutely fantastic! Highly recommended :) HEE.

a new beginning - lay

Home sweet home. Finally after four months plus I’m back home. Time passes so fast that there is still lots of stuff I wana do but there’s really no time to do so. I wana say bye personally to each and everyone of the staffs in Gloria Plaza Beijing who had helped me, took care of me during my internship. But unfortunately mostly I din get to see them on the last day. I felt a tinge of sadness whenever I think about it, think about them. Come to think of it, I have benefited a lot during these five months. Overseas internship has enabled me to see a better view of myself. The goods and bads and of course all the shortcomings, things which I needed to improve on. Never would I have imagined that I would experience and gained so much during the internship. I would definitely not forget the people there. They saw my “growth” within that few months. And of course my bejing gang. I would never have survived internship without them. And I’m very thankful to them for being there especially during times when I’m down. Everybody even me myself had their own shortcomings. We need to learn to accommodate to each other. Nobody is perfect in this world and it’s very amazing that no conflicts had occurred amongst us during the period of internship. Bonds are forged and we bathe, sleep, play, eat, joke, laugh, and cry together during those months. Everybody is so nice and we took care of each other well. That’s why we all grew fat together. =P

Huiying: The A xiaojie aka medic in group. Someone who take really good care of her mates. Thanks to her for dressing my wounds when I fell. She’s so humorous that she always brightens up our day and yea, she’s my taro pie buddy too.

Choikwan: The Auntie in the group. She’s helpful in everyway. Does the admin task in the group (help collect pay, communicate with HR personnel). Without her many things wouldn’t have be successfully completed.

Chai: The tour guide of the group. Without her we would have gotten lost during our sightseeing trips. She’s smart and super stringent on her healthy diet. She’s also our photographer and takes really nice pictures! And its all thanks to her we have our fruits and cakes supply from the morning market. Her discovery!

Michelle: Michael-chelle! The perfectionist when it comes to taking photographs. Thanks to her that we now have a wide collection of nicely take photos. Oh ya, she’s my bed partner and we always discuss the delicious food in Singapore!

Meiyan: We seemed to have fate together. We have the same off days and shifts many times during Front office department. She’s my going-out partner. And if I carve for any food items, I would definitely jio her cos her reply is always “anything”!

Siejen: SeeGee! My bestie. We had gone through a lot especially when at F&B. Without her company at atrium café, I would have break down long ago. We can really chat a lot and despite how tough the times were, she’s there for me.

I wonder how my life in Singapore would be now. It’s been so long since I left for China. I would not need to walk ten mins to bathe, to use internet again. I would not shiver in the cold to get dressed. I would not need to wear layers of clothing. I would not be doing my laundry again. I would not be seeing the china people where I can say “Ni Hao”. There are no more big persimmons to eat, no more YiLi, Mengniu brands of yoghurt, milk, no more of my all-time fav: JianBing, MLT (Ma La Tang), DXM (Dao Xiao Mia), Shaobing. Thinking about those, I’m already missing the place. Goodbye Gloria, Goodbye Beijing! MUACKS. I won’t forget u all!

A NEW START.
Most importantly, I would like to express my thanks to all these people who came to fetch me. Love u guys. And I really miss u guys a lot when I’m in China. Frankly speaking, I was feeling quite queasy on plane before that. Maybe because it’s been so long since I left for Beijing so was quite worried that I might have drifted apart from u guys (the poly clique). But I knew I was wrong esp aft the airport gathering. U guys are still the same, still as crappy, funny and loud. haa. I'm thankful that the feeling is still there. And also thanks a lot for the pandan cake! PANDAN CAKE ROCKS! Hee. I shall see u guys on Monday!

Time pass so so so fast and we are going back to school soon ! And we are already going to book our tickets to Taiwan and Thailand ~

It saddening that it was supposed to be a graduation trip that we were so excited about .....but now many of us have to go our separate ways to enjoy the holidays..... sobx sobx .... Really hope someone just win big TOTO then all have money to go together le ~anyway we are going to burn big hole in our pockets so let us all go work hard in March !

HEY PEOPLE!! AHLAY FROM CHINA IS HERE!!!! firstly let me apologize for not posting an entry for sooo long. kind of busy and quite lazy to blog after a whole day of work. hope you guys don't mind k. aniway, how's your life these few weeks? everything going fine for you all? :) hope ur are not too stressed up from work :) let me give u a brief update of my life in china now. currently the weather is freezing cold here. the lowest temperature is minus two right now and in addition the wind is super strong here but still i bought thick clothings already so hopefully should be able to survive through winter :) currently i have shifted from the atrium cafe to the chinese restaurant called sampan. Although the work is not as tough as atrium cafe but still quite stressed working there as their requirement of staff is high. Aniway its my last week over there and after that i'll be moving on to the front office starting from next week. I'm sure life will get better over here, at least i won't have spilt shifts or report for training daily :) hee. anw u people have not been updating ah, even SK -__- , what's happening in Singapore??!! only amy is blogging, keep it up my dajie! okays, thati's it people, i'll try send u a recent picture of me and sadly to say, i've gained abit of weight. some updates of work...

super damn boring at the Members Lounge as there is not much guests around most of the time. especially during weekdays.
so me and my colleague spend most of the time going crazy and doing crazy stuffs, making each other laugh. hahahaa...
we love especially to make fun of a certain disgusting person, whom i shall not mention.
during my 1 hr break, i still continue sleeping.
most of the time i tend to skip eating because I probably wont have appetite looking at the food they provide.
sometimes i get treat from my colleagues too. need not pay for the food that I order :)
some of the guests being rich are super fussy. but i dont give a damn. lol`.
best thing that ever happened was the $50 dollars tip gotten in one day. hahaa... actually is $100 but spilt together with my colleague.
we went super crazy and happy. hahahaa...
